This hotel offers a prime location, just a short stroll away from the beach. It is also conveniently situated near the highly sought-after Reubens restaurant, providing easy access to delicious dining options. Additionally, the hotel boasts stunning ocean views, allowing guests to enjoy a picturesque backdrop during their stay.

The hotel could benefit from improving its communication with guests regarding maintenance issues, as seen with the broken swimming pool that was not addressed prior to guests' arrival.

The décor and setting of this place is stunning. The Spa is beautiful. We had treatments at the spa which were average at best. The staff were lovely, the location was stunning, everything was very clean. The Abalone is a charming hotel in the quaint little town. The hotel is colorful and full of character with its mix of African and Victorian motifs. Our room was not big but very comfortable and the bathroom modern and well-equipped. The restaurant was great too - good food and excellent service. I'll recommend this hotel for its charming atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and great service.

We absolutely loved our stay at this luxurious hotel! The location right on the ocean provided us with breathtaking views that we will never forget. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction - from the warm welcome drink upon arrival to the attentive service throughout our entire stay. The room amenities were top-notch, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a cozy sitting area, a terrace, and a mini-bar. The spa and wellness center was a great place to unwind, and the heated swimming pool was perfect for relaxing under the sun.

Rooms were beautifully decorated and ready upon arrival. Host provided detailed explanations of accommodations. Breakfasts were heavenly with delicious options. The view from the restaurant and bar was breathtaking. Pool was sparkling and a perfect size.

The property had a charming and cozy atmosphere that made our romantic escape feel more special. the antique fixtures in our room were quirky and comfortable- particularly the bed, which was arguably the most comfortable we ever slept on. the "cooked to order" menu for breakfast and the fresh, cold selections offered us variety each morning. the location offered stunning views and the property had a gorgeous common area and pool to lounge in.

The courtyard pool, though aesthetically pleasing, left something to be desired as the area lacked seating and usable space. the staff were not as friendly and welcoming as we would have liked, and could improve on their training to provide a more hospitable stay.

We booked the villa pool during 3 nights and we weren’t disappointed! Everything was perfect: the view is magic, the villa is very comfy for 2 couples, the furniture was stylish with a nice home feeling. You will find everything you need to cook. The breakfast was included, which is a great deal, and the staff is nice. We definitely will come back in summer to enjoy the pool!
