The Amberhall Guesthouse is a hidden gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. From the moment you arrive, it feels like a peaceful country retreat. the surroundings are beautiful, allowing guests to take leisurely walks and enjoy the fresh air. the rooms are clean, spacious, and accommodating. I stayed with two friends, and they even added an extra bed to our room. Elizabeth, our host, was warm and welcoming, showing us around and making us feel at home. This establishment sets the bar high with special attention from the owners, delicious breakfasts, and exceptionally comfortable beds and pillows. It is the perfect place for both business and personal trips.

The parking was safe and convenient, with a covered area. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area yet close to everything in terms of arranging activities. The staff were fantastic, always gracious, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and varied every day, with options like fresh fruit, warm meals, and tasty cakes.

Had an amazing Easter weekend at a recently refurbished hotel with immaculately maintained gardens and luxurious bedding. the perfect place to unwind and relax. Family-owned and run, the hotel offers an excellent breakfast and great advice on where to visit, eat and play. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home. the open spaces and beautiful garden provided many private nooks to unwind and enjoy, with lovely birds frequently visiting the area. We loved the fact that there were good books available for guests to read, which added to the relaxing experience.

The peacefulness was interrupted by the noise created by other guests and staff. We could hear people coming and going late at night, with doors unlocking and locking, and windows opening and closing.

The breakfast provided was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We also loved the attention to detail in the house, everything was spotlessly clean. it was a fantastic experience.
