It also offers a comfortable bed and a nice place to meet other travelers. The big balcony is perfect for socializing and nightly events with new friends.

However, what really stood out was the exceptional staff. They were incredibly helpful, attentive, and cheerful, going above and beyond to assist with everything. Whether it was providing detailed city information or helping with arrival and departure logistics, they were always friendly and kind. The private room I stayed in was basic but comfortable, clean, and included a full breakfast.

It's also conveniently located, just a 5-minute walk to Kloof street with great restaurants and bars. Plus, it's close to Table Mountain and Lions Head, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts.

I recently stayed at Ashanti Lodge in a beautiful, traditional colonial building. The location was perfect - away from the hustle and bustle of Long Street, but still just a 20-minute walk away. The communal toilets and showers were modern and meticulously clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and there was even a money changer onsite. I loved that I could easily book tours and activities through the hotel's travel agency, who provided great advice on budget-friendly options based on my preferences.
