Poor WiFi connectivity in certain areas of the accommodation. Insufficient kitchen utensils and work space in the self-catering units.

The location in the nature near to Addo Elephant park is simply beautiful. The hotel is situated on the river bank, which adds to its charm. The hotel facilities are great, with a pool and outdoor seating area that are beautifully maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We were delighted with our stay at Avoca River Cabins. The self-catering accommodation was beautifully equipped with comfortable beds - perfect for those with physical handicaps. The adventure playground and swimming pool provided great entertainment for the children. The stunning views of the river and abundance of bird life added to the charm. We also enjoyed a lovely in-house meal prepared by the talented staff.

We felt completely at ease during our stay at Avoca River Cabins - there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

Spent Xmas at this gem tucked in lush greenery by a flowing river. Breathtaking views of the sunset from the cabin. Plenty of exciting outdoor activities for kids and adults including guided game drives and braai. Friendly and helpful staff took care of everything. Delicious homemade breakfast and dinner. Conveniently located close to the game reserve and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery.

Chalet cleanliness could be better with some maintenance required. The loft bedding was not very comfortable and the "braai" lacked proper grilling equipment.

We stayed for two nights in 'The Castle', a charming cabin nestled in the midst of nature. The room was spacious and cozy, with a private patio offering a beautiful view of the valley. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. The location was ideal, being very close to Addo National Park, allowing us to easily explore the surrounding wildlife. Additionally, the swimming pool and well-maintained gardens added to the overall tranquility of the place.

The shower in our cabin looked a bit old and grimy, which could be improved.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and the food was delicious. it was a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend it.
