I recently had a wonderful stay at a hidden gem in Gordons Bay. The lodge, with its secure private parking, was a great find. The rooms were well-appointed and equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a TV and mini-fridge. The layout of the guesthouse encouraged socializing, with a restaurant-like dining area, pub, and outdoor balcony. The small pool was clean and inviting. Plus, being within walking distance of the beach, Spur, and shops was a big win. Highly recommended!

My recent stay at Big Skies Guesthouse was absolutely wonderful. The small touches and attention to detail made me feel right at home. The entertainment area provided stunning views of the mountains and sea, perfect for enjoying a sunset cocktail. The host went above and beyond by providing firelighters and charcoal for a braai, something other places wouldn't do. The cleanliness and homeliness of the place were also top-notch. Additionally, the location, just 100 meters from the beach and restaurants, was incredibly convenient.

The warm welcome and attentive staff. Clean and well-maintained property. Ideal location near the beach. Comfortable and clean room. Delicious and varied breakfast selection. Great service from owners and staff. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Peaceful and uninterrupted stay.

The location of the guesthouse was ideal, as it was near to the beach and restaurants, making it convenient for us to explore and dine out. The room we stayed in was comfortable and spotless, and the staff was polite and friendly. Additionally, breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely dining area.

The communal kitchenette could have been better equipped with more cooking facilities.

The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and plenty of great restaurants nearby. the view from my room was stunning, giving me a chance to relax and take in my surroundings.

While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, there were a couple of members who seemed disinterested in their job. However, this didn't spoil my overall experience, and the positives far outweighed the negatives.

Lovely views, ideal for exclusive groups, communal areas for socializing, convenient location, nearby golf courses and wine estates.

Just loved hearing the remote gate open and cars coming in and out of the parking bay right next to my room. So peaceful!

The breakfast was generous and well-prepared, with crispy bacon that was just perfect. the chefette was lovely and always had a smile on her face. We also enjoyed the great view over the bay while having breakfast.

Sadly, the room had some cleanliness issues. Some of the blankets had yellow stains on them, making them look unwashed.
