We had a delightful stay at Blue Cow Barn in Barrydale. Johan, a friend of the owner, warmly welcomed us and made us feel at home. The room had everything we needed and offered a lovely view of the orchard. Breakfast at the nearby Blue Cow Coffee shop was delicious, and we enjoyed watching the birds on the deck. The Dung Beetle Pub provided a great evening experience, mingling with friendly locals.

100% Recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable and relaxed during it. Our host was super friendly and helpful, they even rinsed off our car for us in the morning! Very hospitable, thank you! The cottages were amazingly comfortable and the included kitchen was very well equipped. The area was peaceful and the location was perfect for exploring.

It was a bit sad that there wasn't really a place to get dinner on a Tuesday evening. The host told us where to go and that it is definitely open but we ended up in front of closed doors.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming boutique farm guest house in Barrydale. Our experience at Blue Cow Barn was simply delightful. The accommodation was impeccably appointed, with attention to detail like fresh flowers in every room. The host, Bertus, was warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. We loved the fact that we were staying on a working dairy farm and had the opportunity to experience the peacefulness and beauty of the surrounding countryside. Highly recommended for a perfect getaway.

We had an amazing stay at the Blue Cow Barn - Boutique Farm. The host was incredibly friendly and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. The cottage we stayed in, called Corlie, had stunning panoramic views and all the amenities we needed for a weekend getaway. The freedom to explore the farm and enjoy the garden added to the overall experience. Plus, the location on the outskirts of town provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere.

We felt completely happy with our stay, no complaints whatsoever.
