This hotel is a hidden gem in the midst of the stunning Blyde River Canyon. The location is perfect, with easy access to all the hiking trails and viewpoints in the area. The staff were efficient and welcoming, with a special shout-out to Freedom who made our check-in process a breeze. The rooms were spacious, clean, and surprisingly quiet, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. The breakfast, included in our package, was a delightful surprise and all the other meals were enjoyable too.

The furnishings in the rooms were a bit dated and could use some updating.

We had a fantastic stay at Blyde Canyon Resort! The location is perfect, just a short walk to see the three rondavels and close to all the amenities and tourist spots. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The self-catering rooms had everything we needed, and the braai stand was a great bonus. We loved having parking right outside our room. It was so convenient having a shop, butcher, and fueling station on site. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious, with excellent service, and the swimming pool was a hit!

The location of the resort offers breathtaking views of the surrounding canyon, with the restaurant providing a great vantage point to admire the 3 rondavels. The SCD4 chalet is spacious and well-equipped, featuring two bedrooms, a kitchen area, and a patio with BBQ facilities. The staff provides excellent service, particularly during breakfast.

Safety measures for horse rides were lacking, with only one staff member overseeing multiple guests at a time.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Cleanliness was top-notch, with the resort outside being very clean and well-maintained. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a large pool and other amenities in a central location. The location was perfect, as it offered wonderful hikes where we could enjoy stunning views over the three rondavels and the surrounding area. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, with Andronica being particularly prompt and helpful.

The restaurant had a great selection of food, and the staff were friendly and attentive. the view from the restaurant was absolutely breathtaking, allowing me to enjoy my meal while taking in the stunning surroundings. the pool area was clean and inviting, providing a relaxing space to unwind after a long day.

The chalet I stayed in could have used some improvements. the furniture and equipment seemed outdated, and the lack of internet access in the chalet was inconvenient.

This hotel is situated in a beautiful area just close to the canyon, offering stunning mountain views from the rooms with large mirrors. The breakfast, which includes African and international specialties, is a great value at a very affordable price.

Staying at Blyde Canyon, A Forever Resort was a truly exceptional experience. The self-catering family chalet we stayed in was clean, well-equipped, and had all the amenities we needed. The resort's location was perfect for exploring the area, with attractions like Upper, Lower, and Three Rondavels points, Graskop. We also enjoyed the convenience of the on-site restaurant, Kadisi, where we indulged in delicious pizza, potato chips, and fruit juice. The resort's facilities, such as the swimming pool and well-stocked shop, added to our overall enjoyment. The check-in and checkout process was seamless, and the staff made us feel welcome and provided us with all the necessary information.

The hotel location was perfect and within close proximity to many great attractions in Mpumalanga. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, including a well-equipped kitchenette and a cozy outdoor sitting area. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty and satisfying.

The restaurant's a la carte menu was a bit overpriced compared to the buffet, and the steak dishes were tough and chewy.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic and included a great egg station, sausages, bacon, and more. the location of the resort is perfect for exploring the beautiful scenery and there are plenty of walking tracks to enjoy. the bungalow had a well-equipped kitchenette, fridge, microwave, and toaster which made self-catering a breeze. It was also a delight to see baboons and small deer around the area.

The resort is quite large, making it challenging to navigate around, especially since the swimming pool, laundry, store. there is no wi-fi available in the rooms, so you have to go to the restaurant for that.

Excellent location with private lookouts over beautiful surroundings, especially when viewed from the upper ground. The rooms provide good value for the price and have all the necessary amenities for self-catering. Seamless check-in adds to the convenience of the stay. The outside area is well-maintained and clean with a large swimming pool and braai area. Laundry facilities onsite make it easy to stay fresh during the entire trip.
