The view was really nice and the pool area was great. the food was tasty with a good variety. the location was convenient, close to other attractions like wineries and hiking trails.

The rooms were very outdated and stuffy. the air conditioning was not effective at all.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this luxurious hotel nestled in the mountains! The location was perfect, with stunning views over the vineyards and Swartberg mountains. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with strong Wi-Fi and comfortable beds. We also enjoyed the delightful garden and quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The food was exceptional, both for dinner and breakfast. The quality and presentation of the meals were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. We would highly recommend this place for a truly luxurious and comfortable stay.

The only drawback was the weather, which prevented us from enjoying the terrace with a drink. However, this place has so much to offer that we didn't really mind.

We felt like part of the family during our stay at the cozy guesthouse. The hosts warmly welcomed us and shared their travel experiences, making us feel at home. The meals were excellent, especially the delicious and generous portions of home-cooked food. The location, overlooking the vineyards and mountains, added to the charm of our stay. Despite the initial surprise of the property's older style, the warm welcome and great food more than made up for it. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and spend more time with the hospitable hosts. we highly recommend this lovely guesthouse for a memorable stay in Calitzdorp.
