We found a charming B&B with friendly staff in a safe area. The location was perfect for walking to nearby restaurants and shops. The room was warm and spacious with lovely wood accessories. The breakfast was fantastic, with freshly baked bread and delicious coffee. Additionally, the B&B had a private pedestrian lane leading to the bustling hub of cafes and restaurants. It was truly a home away from home.

The only suggestion we have is to consider installing overhead showers in the rooms for added comfort.

I had the most amazing stay at Agterplaas Guesthouse! From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was at home. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The room was spacious, beautiful, and very affordable. I loved sitting in the lovely garden and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was plenty to choose from. Despite a few minor issues like the TV not working and small bathroom area, the overall experience was fantastic. I especially appreciated the fact that race made no difference in the way I was treated - they treated me like family. Even though load shedding caused occasional power and internet issues, the staff did their best to make my stay comfortable. I highly recommend Agterplaas Guesthouse and can't wait to come back!

I had such a pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff were absolutely wonderful and made me feel so taken care of. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. I particularly loved the lovely garden and terrace where I could sit and relax. The breakfast was a real highlight, with delicious options and the added bonus of home-made bread. the hotel offers great value for money with its beautiful surroundings and convenient location near the restaurants of Melville.

During my recent stay at a guesthouse in Johannesburg, I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional hospitality and service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, even accommodating a special request of mine. The breakfast provided was delicious, with freshly baked bread and cinnamon rolls. The location of the guesthouse was convenient, with easy access to popular attractions in the area. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone visiting Johannesburg.

While my stay was wonderful, there were a few minor drawbacks. The lighting in the room could have been better, and on one evening, there was an issue with the water supply.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the best we had during our whole trip. that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, we were able to walk to several nearby restaurants and it was easy to get transportation to other areas. We also loved having a safe parking spot for our car.

We stayed in a single room and unfortunately, the air conditioning unit next to our window was very loud and kept turning on and off throughout the night which made it hard to sleep. The TV in the room wasn't working properly either.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcome and at home. Delightful staff, wonderful accommodations, and delicious breakfast. Excellent restaurants and a lovely park nearby. Perfect stay!
