The location of the guest house is perfect, just a short walk away from the main beach, where you can enjoy the sound of ocean waves crashing. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, making it convenient to grab a bite to eat. The Braai area is a great facility, perfect for those who enjoy outdoor cooking.

The air conditioning in the rooms can be a bit noisy, making it difficult to have a peaceful night's sleep.

The view from our room at Gull On The Bay was absolutely breathtaking! I could sit on the bed for hours, gazing out at the stunning panorama of Table Mountain and Robben Island. The location was perfect too, close enough to the beach to hear the soothing sound of the ocean, but far enough away from the crowds and noise. The room itself was immaculate, cozy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Having Netflix in the room was a great bonus as well. Brian, the owner/manager, made us feel right at home with his warm hospitality. We only stayed for one night, but based on the delicious breakfast we had, I'm sure his cooking is outstanding. With only 3 rooms, we felt pampered and well taken care of. Gull On The Bay would be an ideal base to explore Cape Town and the surrounding area, with Brian's helpful suggestions and recommendations. I can't wait to come back, especially during the colder months to enjoy the fireplace and the cozy living area, while admiring the stormy ocean. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience.

The views are absolutely stunning, with Table Mountain, Robben Island, and Table Bay right outside my balcony. I had a blast riding the free bicycles and enjoying the gym, sauna, steam room, and infinity pool.

Oh, how I love having an open bath and shower in my room, just like the good old days in Cape Dutch homes. So nostalgic.

The place offers a fantastic view and the rooms are clean and cozy. Beds are really comfortable and Wi-Fi is fast and stable. Breakfast is delicious, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Plus, the location is prime, with easy access to the beach and a beautiful view of Table Mountain.

The designated smoking area is inconveniently located in a parking lot and the smoke can sometimes be smelled by non-smokers. the open bathroom concept may be uncomfortable for some guests, although the toilet is a separate and enclosed space.

The value we got for our money at this beautiful lodge was exceptional. Not only was our room spotless and comfortable, but the view from the windows was absolutely breathtaking. The location was perfect - close enough to the beach to hear the ocean, but far enough away from the noise and crowds. The host, Brian, made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. He genuinely cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to ensure a positive stay. The breakfast he made for us was delicious and his recommendations for exploring Cape Town were invaluable. We will definitely be recommending this place to others and can't wait to come back.
