Staying at Harpers House was a true delight! The location was perfect, just a short stroll away from the CBD and the V&A waterfront. The peaceful ambiance of this renovated colonial house was a little oasis, complete with a small pool and a charming patio area. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast spread was simply outstanding - it was something I genuinely looked forward to every morning. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, and the daily cleaning service made my stay even more enjoyable. I can't recommend Harpers House enough!

While my stay at Harpers House was exceptional, I did encounter a couple of minor drawbacks. The wifi signal was a bit weak, although it was still quite fast.

Exceptional staff and great design! We loved the comfortable rooms and appreciated the helpful tips from the hosts on local attractions. the key location made it easy to explore the city and the outdoor area was a nice addition. Plus, the complimentary robes were a convenient bonus.

Our only complaint was the lack of soundproofing in our room and the inconvenience of shared bathrooms – but they were kept clean. the standing floor fan in our room didn't quite provide enough relief from the heat.

Nothing, it is perfect.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, close to the Waterfront, by a lovely little garden. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed. The shared bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. The service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The breakfast was tasty, and the hotel had a safe driveway for parking.

The noise from upstairs kept us awake at night.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. Its prices are affordable, especially considering the attention to detail and the safe location. Situated only a short walk away from the Waterfront, it provides easy access to all the attractions. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms are well-appointed, with a very comfy bed and luxurious linen. I particularly loved the balcony/patio area in the upstairs bedroom, which offered a lovely view. The breakfast was also a highlight, with delicious food to start the day.
