Hawklee Country House truly exceeded my expectations. its location on the river in the picturesque countryside alongside Lion's River was absolutely breathtaking. I couldn't ask for a more serene and idyllic setting. Secondly, the staff's attention to detail was impeccable. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and attended to. Lastly, the rooms were a delightful surprise. Not only were they well equipped with a spa bath, but they also had a distinct feature—an upper rest area with fantastic views. To top it off, breakfast was included, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Everything was faultless.

I had a very enjoyable stay at a country house nestled in the picturesque countryside next to the flowing Lion's River. The location was perfect for nature lovers like me, as I could listen to the soothing sound of the river and admire the beautiful view from my comfortable and tastefully furnished room. The service was top-notch, with friendly owners who made sure my stay was memorable. The breakfast served was delicious and beautifully presented, adding to the overall positive experience.

The wifi connection was only available in the main house, which was a minor inconvenience.

The stunning countryside views and the cozy fireplace definitely made our romantic escape memorable. The area was very peaceful and quiet, perfect for a getaway. We enjoyed the hearty breakfast provided and the friendly staff made us feel welcome.

The lack of wifi in our cottage made staying in touch with the world difficult and a bit frustrating. The bathroom fittings were also outdated and in need of some maintenance.
