At my go, to spot, I found friendly staff who gave me a morning wake, up call. With everything I need like Wi, Fi, parking, and massages, it's just right. Add in outdoor dining, board games, and an outdoor pool – it's where I return for romantic getaways without a doubt.

Room size was good with beautiful antiques and comfortable bed linen. the location close to the mountains was great for our business trip, and we enjoyed the picnic-style breakfast in the orchards which was a nice touch.

incredible stay in swellendam. jan harmsgat blew us away with their stunning rooms, amazing staff, and attention to detail. we switched our plans just to stay here again. the little bed for our daughter was a hit, and francois even drove us to dinner in a safari vehicle. one of our best hotel experiences ever!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The location on a beautiful farm just outside of Cape Town was breathtaking. We loved taking walks and exploring the surrounding area. The service from the staff was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hugs and made to feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The rooms were beautifully appointed and had all the amenities we could ask for. The attention to detail, such as fresh flowers and home-baked biscuits, made our stay even more special. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the option for a picnic, which was absolutely marvelous. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations in every way.

This venue is highly recommended for families as well.

i had the most amazing stay at this beautiful country house. it's located on a farm in a stunning area with great opportunities for walks and visits to nearby towns. the manager, francois, really went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. the rooms were beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with fresh flowers and delicious home-baked biscuits. the food was absolutely delicious, especially the lamb shoulder. the old-world charm of the room combined with modern luxuries made our stay perfect. can't wait to visit again.
