We had a truly magical experience during our stay at this charming retreat. The location, nestled alongside the river and down the mouth, offered breathtaking views of both the river and the ocean. The rooms were pristinely clean and beautifully decorated with a modern touch. The spacious shower and comfortable bed ensured a relaxing stay. The friendly staff provided exceptional service, and the delicious breakfast was a delightful start to our day. We also enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the opportunity to observe the bushbuck grazing and the birds flocking to the nearby wetlands.

The only minor inconvenience was the difficulty of getting around the shower door in the bathroom due to limited space.

The location of the hotel is great, situated down the river towards the mouth in the harbour. The rooms are beautifully designed, with a stylish modern theme in white and black. The breakfast served is fantastic, with a variety of options including toast, croissant, ham, sausages. The service provided by the host is excellent, with helpful suggestions for activities and places to visit. The views of the river and ocean from the rooms are magnificent.

The cats roaming around the hotel can be a nuisance, especially for those with allergies or who dislike cats.

What a great Easter weekend we had! We loved the bright and airy room with a stunning sea view, and the bed was really comfortable. the location was perfect, with easy access to great cafes and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the complimentary coffee and chocolates provided in our room each day.

Our only disappointment was the toilet, which was not as clean as we had hoped. We also found the room to be a bit stuffy at times, which made sleeping a bit difficult.

The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my stay, from the warmed honey at breakfast to the immaculate cleanliness of the room. The quality of the amenities, such as the excellent linen and French press coffee, added an extra touch of luxury to my experience. I cannot wait to return to this gem of a hotel.
