The location of the hotel was convenient, being close to local shops and easily accessible. However, the downside was that it was right next to an extremely noisy railway line, with trains passing throughout the night. This made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Nonetheless, the room itself was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable stay. The service provided by the staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. The breakfast offered was satisfactory, although nothing special.

The rooms were clean and neat, and the staff was friendly. The pool area was enjoyable, and the location of the hotel was convenient.

The food at the restaurant was not great, with pre-cooked and frozen dishes offered. Additionally, the room was missing some basic amenities, which would have made our stay more comfortable.

Close to nature, the accommodation at Komati River Chalets was clean and well-equipped. The proximity to the river allowed for fishing and enjoying the picturesque surroundings. The restaurant served delicious food, although breakfast was not available on Sundays. Access to Kruger National Park was quick and easy. I would highly recommend this gem of a lodge for a memorable stay close to nature and Kruger National Park.
