We felt immediately at home when we arrived at the property. The Lodge Manager, Wayne, greeted us warmly and helped with our luggage. The decor and furnishings were beautifully done, creating a luxurious atmosphere. The attention to detail in the bedroom, including the quality of the furniture and bedding, was exceptional. Carine and Fanie, the owners, were friendly and attentive, ensuring that everything was to our liking. The location of the lodge allowed us to observe elephants, hippos, and impalas across the river. The rooms were spacious, clean, and luxurious. The staff, including the chef, were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh ingredients prepared exactly as we requested. The breathtaking view of the Crocodile River and the comfortable bed made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite a minor inconvenience of having to bring our own beverages, the overall experience was amazing. The only regret was not staying longer.
