We had a spontaneous trip to Lalibela on a fantastic half price deal. the lodge was perched high above a watering hole, offering breathtaking hill views. the staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, making us feel welcomed right from the start. the lodge itself had plenty of viewing spaces, a pool, and cozy interiors adorned with fascinating wall art. the food was delicious, plentiful, and homemade. the rangers were knowledgeable and accommodating, ensuring we had an unforgettable wildlife experience. the game drives provided us with numerous photo opportunities and the chance to observe not just the big five, but also a wide range of bird life. the outstanding staff and overall experience made Lalibela our top recommendation in the region.

The lodge was picturesque with great views and cozy interiors adorned with interesting wall art. The staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly, especially our guide Peter, who made our game drives a memorable experience. We saw more than just the big five and had endless breathtaking photo opportunities. Lalibela exceeded our expectations with its hidden gem charm.
