The fresh sushi at Mackaya Bella was a culinary journey through local flavors. the lodge's secluded location offers stunning views and personalized service. the hosts, Ryan and Danny, went above and beyond to ensure a 5-star experience.

We faced red worms falling from the thatch roof in our room. Despite this, the lodge's natural surroundings still shined bright.

Arrived in rainstorm, driving bit tricky with low car. Welcomed by hosts offering to drive us to lodge. Room comfy, tea/coffee provided. Great mountain view! Breakfast buffet tasty. Enjoyed quiet, cozy atmosphere. Detailed guided hike arranged by friendly owner. Must return for forest hike! Free transfer available for low cars. Enjoyed games at communal lounge. Lodge hosts lovely! Brazil.
