Beautiful river view, friendly staff, convenient location near southern gate of Kruger National Park, possibility to spot wildlife during meals. Welcoming atmosphere, excellent service.

We had a fantastic stay at a lodge with stunning views over the river and the Kruger park. We were lucky enough to see hippos, elephants, zebras, and crocodiles right from the lodge. The location was perfect for starting our safari adventures in the Kruger, just a short drive from the southern gate. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed dining outside by the fire. The staff were warm, friendly, and very helpful, especially in accommodating our large group. we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

The location of the hotel was perfect, situated on the banks of the Sabie River and just a stone's throw away from the Kruger gate. The stunning view of the river from our room was breathtaking. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying, offering a wide variety of options. The room itself was clean and comfortable, offering a cozy bed for a good night's sleep.

The staff seemed uninformed about the nearby restaurant that was closed for months, which was a disappointment.

The location is unbeatable with stunning views, right on the crocodile river. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food, both breakfast and dinner, is great with plenty of choice. The hotel is excellent value for money.

We had a wonderful time here! The hotel is situated on the beautiful crocodile river and offers stunning views of the Kruger National park and its wildlife. We were thrilled to see elephants, hippos and crocodiles right from our terrace. The helpful staff provided excellent service, and we could always count on prompt and friendly assistance from dry cleaning, laundry, tours/ticket desk, 24-hour room service and housekeeping. Our room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities, such as air conditioning, ironing facilities, tea/coffee amenities, and a safe. The leisure facilities were fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool, the spa centre, and the fitness centre.

The breathtaking location, the excellent service, and the luxurious facilities of this venue made our stay here unforgettable. This place has everything you could wish for and more, including a sun terrace, a library, a restaurant, and a bar/lounge area.

The location of the lodge is perfect for quick entry into the park, and the views from the main deck are incredible. the breakfast spread was great, and the dinner buffet was also enjoyable. the pool and super slide were a hit with both kids and adults. It was also convenient that they had generators to provide power during load shedding.

The al la carte menu and food quality could use improvement, and the lunch options became repetitive for longer stays. the phone in the room was not working, making it difficult to call for room service.

I absolutely loved being in the heart of nature at this lodge. The location is perfect, surrounded by magnificent wildlife such as hippos and crocodiles. The room was comfortable and clean, providing a peaceful escape. The staff were friendly and professional, ensuring a pleasant stay. I also appreciated the beautiful view of the river and enjoyed sipping sundowner cocktails on the deck. In the morning, they even packed breakfast for us as we ventured into Kruger Park early.

I was disappointed by the lack of assistance and empathy from some staff members. It was disheartening to encounter an unhelpful attitude, with one person even suggesting we drive back to Joburg at 16:00 in the afternoon.

We absolutely loved our recent stay at Pestana Kruger Lodge. The location was unbeatable, with stunning views across the crocodile river. Being just a stones throw away from the Malelane gate was so convenient for our self-drive adventures in Kruger Park. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. The food, both for dinner and breakfast, was amazing with plenty of choices on the menu. We especially loved the buffet breakfast, and I'm still craving the recipe for their delicious beans! the facilities and amenities were perfect for us, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We felt completely relaxed during our stay at Pestana Kruger Lodge, and we have absolutely no complaints.

the rooms were comfortable and spotless, with great beds. the staff, including Themba at reception, Priska at the buffet, and Nellie the waitress, all went above and beyond to provide friendly and helpful service. the hotel's deck offers an incredible view of the river, where you can watch hippos, crocodiles, and impala while enjoying your drinks or meals. the location is also very convenient, right next to the Kruger's Malelane gate, making it easy to explore the park. the food at the buffets and a la carte menu was superb, and the WiFi in the rooms was very fast. I can't wait to return to this amazing hotel.

The location is close to a park entrance and had beautiful views of the surrounding scenery. the staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to our positive experience.

We noticed some maintenance issues throughout the hotel which detracted from the overall experience. not having drinks included with dinner as part of the meal package was a downside.
