I had a wonderful stay at Protea Hotel in the Western Cape wine lands. The hotel was beautifully situated and surrounded by stunning scenery. The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's location was excellent, with easy access to nearby restaurants and bars. The safe parking also gave me peace of mind during my stay.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the dirty bathroom and the hotel's non-smoking policy not being clearly communicated, overall I had a positive experience. The staff were friendly and the food and wine served at the hotel were delightful.

Protea Franschhoek provided us with a delightful 'home from home' experience during our recent one-night stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and stylishly renovated, and the breakfasts were fabulous. We loved the peaceful ambiance of the hotel, while still being conveniently located near the main street. The Hussar Grill attached to the hotel was a lovely dining option with exceptional food. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!
