Best aspects for my xmas stay at this hotel were the convenient location, which made it easy to explore nearby attractions, and the comfortable and luxurious amenities that gave it a 4-star feel. the hotel also offered friendly and helpful reception staff, who allowed me to check in early and even provided a table in the restaurant/bar for a sundowner meeting with a beautiful view of the grounds.

Worst aspects of my stay included ongoing building works that started early in the morning and continued throughout the day, causing constant noise and disturbance. Additionally, the hotel had high fencing and restricted guests from going outside on their own, giving a feeling of being confined like in a prison.

Clean, good location, great breakfast and helpful staff, especially Chef Jabu who made our stay memorable, along with Evelyne. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful, the bar and restaurant were nice, and the hotel had great facilities. The hotel's in-house taxi service was convenient and reasonably priced. The location was perfect, with easy access to the freeway and close to shopping areas and restaurants. The hotel had a large car park and the room had a beautiful view of the grounds. The cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful renovation of the hotel since my last visit. The outside area is also excellent. The vegetable selection available on the Continental breakfast was a great addition.

They were tough and lacking meat, a complete waste of money. Additionally, I was surprised by the poor Wi-Fi signal quality.

The value for money at Protea Hotel was exceptional. The room was clean, spacious, and perfect for business travelers. The hotel's location, within a large sports club, provided a serene atmosphere and beautiful views from some rooms. The staff were courteous and professional, making me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout my stay.

Breakfast delights could be improved with more consistent availability of butter and condiments on the tables.

The staff respected our privacy and were aware of our presence. The bar closes at 2am, but the snacks and sweets are available late into the night. The location is excellent and the complimentary shuttle service covers various areas. The rooms are spacious with a good desk for business travelers. a 5-star experience. 👍

Displeased with the lack of attention to detail in the rooms. the bathroom needed some updating and the toilet had a constant leak.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a convenient location, close to the freeway and business areas. It was also next to The Wanderers stadium and a short distance from the Rosebank shopping area as well as Sandton City. The room was comfortable with a spacious bathroom, and the staff provided excellent service. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options and the hotel offered free Wi-Fi in the lobby. it was a pleasant stay.

The printing service in the lobby had a fee.

Lovely hotel with a great dining and bar area. The rooms are well-maintained and not worn out. The location is superb, close to main shopping centers. The gym is also excellent. Staff are accommodating and the hotel is well-run.

I recently stayed at a luxurious 4-star hotel near a famous cricket ground. The location was superb, especially for the cricket match I attended. It was priceless to be able to stroll from my hotel room to my seat in just 5 minutes. The hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services, with friendly and professional staff. The room was perfect, neat, and tidy, with all the amenities I needed. The hotel also had a nice bar and a decent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. my stay here was excellent, and I would highly recommend it to families.
