The easiest and fastest check-in process I've experienced, even arriving late at night. Friendly and efficient reception staff. the hotel's location next to the zoo/animal park added an interesting touch and allowed for animal sightings from the room and grounds. Good food and a decent wine list.

The rooms were not very clean, especially the bathrooms. It was also disappointing not to be able to charge drinks and dinner to the room.

This place has absolutely no lighting, so at night you would be swimming in a black water pool in a pitch dark area. The location was brilliant with the zoo behind, and we even spotted some animals loitering around. The hotel is fairly quiet, making it a peaceful and relaxing stay. It is also conveniently located within walking distance from the Toyota stadium. The staff are so friendly, even the cleaners, and we really liked that they welcomed us and thanked us for our Platinum Marriott membership. The service here is top-notch, with room service, dry cleaning, housekeeping, and laundry available. The hotel amenities are great, with an airport shuttle, shuttle service, wake up service, and paid shuttle service. They even offer a welcome drink and happy hour. The rooms are equipped with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and a terrace with garden furniture. Other amenities include a hair dryer, free toiletries, an electric kettle, an AM/FM alarm clock, and a flat-screen TV.

There were no negative aspects about this hotel. We highly recommend it to everyone.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, with the hotel sitting at the back of a zoo, allowing us to see the beauty of nature from our room and the patio area. The hotel's proximity to the rugby stadium and a large shopping center made it so convenient for us. The hotel and rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing enhanced comfort. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The dinner was delicious, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options, ensuring a great start to our day.

With only one baby chair available, our stay could have been improved with more clean and well-maintained baby chairs. Despite this, we highly recommend this hotel for families as it provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I recently stayed at Protea Hotel in Bloemfontein for a quick business trip and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff members were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist. The hotel's location was ideal, making it easy to explore the area. The room service was outstanding, with delicious warm food and coffee. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable and clean rooms, despite their smaller size. Even during power outages, the air conditioning still worked perfectly. The reception and restaurant staff were exceptionally helpful, adding to the overall positive experience.

The swimming pool ly small, especially considering the hot weather in Bloemfontein during the summer. Additionally, there were an unpleasant smell on the towels and the shower in my room leaked water onto the floor.

The staff was incredibly friendly, with every person greeting me with a smile and good morning, including the cleaners. The food, especially the breakfast, was delicious. I also appreciated the ample parking and strong Wi-Fi connection.

We had a very comfortable stay at Protea Hotel in Bloemfontein. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a business trip, including a desk and accessible Wi-Fi. The dinner menu offered a variety of options to suit different tastes, and the biltong soup was delicious. The outdoor area with the swimming pool and animals was a nice touch. we would recommend this hotel.

The botanical gardens, museums, and other attractions are also easily accessible from the hotel.
