I recently stayed at Hotel Le Vendome for a few nights during my visit to Cape Town. The staff at the registration and door/parking were polite, and the front desk was very helpful throughout my stay. They even provided a boxed breakfast for my early morning shark cage dive. The hotel's location was great, as I could easily walk to the waterfront and nearby retail stores. The free parking was also a bonus. The wifi had good speed once connected, and I appreciated the British electric power point in the room. Additionally, the welcoming staff, well-equipped gym, and complimentary wine at the reception added to my enjoyable stay.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

Great Sea View

I was impressed with the stunning sea view from my room. It was so beautiful that I spent most of my time sitting on the balcony enjoying the scenery. Although there were seagulls nesting around the balcony, it didn't disturb my peaceful stay. I'll recommend this hotel.

I stayed at a hotel recently that had a convenient location, close to everything I needed. It was a short walk to the beach where I could enjoy the ocean views in just a couple of minutes. The hotel was also not far from a Red Bus hop-on hop-off stop, making it easy to explore the city. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff provided excellent service, always with a smile. The breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and the facilities, such as the pool and terrace, were beautiful.

I did find that the entrance and reception area could have been cleaner. The carpet on the stairs was worn and needed to be replaced or cleaned.

As a light sleeper, I appreciated the peaceful and quiet environment during my stay. The comfortable and cozy room provided a serene atmosphere for a good night's sleep.

The hotel felt really homely, and I couldn't find a single reason to complain.

We had a bit of a hiccup with our room at first, but the staff at Le Vendome handled it brilliantly. They quickly moved us to a different room that exceeded our expectations. The chef also deserves a shoutout for preparing a delicious vegetarian breakfast. The hotel itself is beautiful and located in a great area. I highly recommend Le Vendome for a comfortable stay in Cape Town.

The location just off the seafront is perfect for a late afternoon stroll or jog with the locals. The breakfast choices were excellent, and the staff were helpful when we had any issues. The free shuttle bus to the Waterfront was a convenient way to get there without a long journey.

This venue is definitely worth a stay! the luxurious amenities fulfilled all my needs, with exceptional service from the staff. the room advantages are exclusive with stunning views of the surrounding city. the outdoor dining area provided delicious meals and the private facilities were a dream come true. The location advantages made it easy to explore the area and enjoy everything it has to offer. Cons: the only minor issue was the swimming pool, which could use some updating. this hotel provided an exceptional experience with attentive staff and luxurious amenities.

Had a wonderful time over Xmas! Enjoyed my stay in a hotel with great service and attention to detail. Received two lovely complementary gifts - a bottle of wine and a fruit basket. the central location meant I was able to easily explore the city.

There were a couple of negatives too. there was no variety in the breakfast menu over the 5 days I was there.
