Great location, close to Kruger Park. Colonial style with interesting decorations. Hippo and elephant sightings from the pool and deck. Delicious meals and friendly service. highly recommended for a visit to the park!

The location of the lodge is unbeatable, just across the river from Kruger Park, allowing guests to soak up the stunning views and tranquility of nature. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom is clean, ensuring a pleasant stay. The friendly owner and staff provide excellent service, making guests feel right at home. Additionally, the breakfast options are varied and delicious, providing a good start to the day.

The lack of choice and wastage of food during meals could be improved.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel. The location on the river bank was absolutely stunning. I couldn't get enough of the breathtaking view from the deck, where I was lucky enough to see hippos and elephants right in front of me. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The service was top-notch, with helpful staff even offering to take me to the city center. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. This place truly exceeded my expectations and is definitely one of the best places I've ever stayed.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

river house lodge in malalane was a dream getaway for our wedding celebration. the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. amazing views, delicious food, and friendly service created the perfect atmosphere.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location, offering beautiful gardens and a unique experience. We enjoyed the stunning views of the Crocodile river, where we saw three of the Big 5. the breakfast was fantastic, and we loved the surprise of a 3-course dinner included in the rate.

It was musty and didn't feel clean, and the overall decor felt cluttered and dusty. the hotel management's smoking affected us negatively when we had to walk through clouds of cigarette smoke to get to the restaurant and front door.

River House Lodge exceeded my expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the owner was a terrific host. The location was superb, right by the river. The food at the lodge was delicious, and I highly recommend trying it. Despite some negative reviews, I found the place clean and well-maintained. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend River House Lodge to others.

The food prepared by Emmanuel was delicious, with generous portions served elegantly. The manager Johan was friendly and helpful, suggesting routes for Kruger Park and even loaning us binoculars. The owner was attentive, regularly checking in on us during dinner. The guest house had a prime location overlooking the Crocodile river and felt very safe in an upmarket neighborhood. The bed was comfortable and offered a great view. Breakfast was fantastic, with a wide selection.

Felt like a home away from home, no complaints at all.

The location of this B&B is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful deck and outdoor area ideal for breakfast while enjoying the views of the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park. It's a perfect spot for nature lovers to relax and watch game passing by.

The car parking is not secure or organised and this can be a concern for guests.

We got great value for our money at River House Lodge. The room was clean and the balcony had an amazing view of the river. The staff treated us with kindness and were very helpful.
