Chalet with spacious lounge and dining area. En-suite bathroom for a touch of luxury. Battlefield tour was riveting, but could use more bathroom breaks. Horse riding was a blast, especially for beginners like me.

Not a fan of the tepid food. Feel like the only guest in a deserted place.

We stayed at Rorkes Drift Lodge for 3 nights and it was a wonderful peaceful spot. The views from the lodge are magnificent, extending all the way to Isandlwana. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well organized. The food, delivered to our room, surpassed expectations, and the tour of Rorke's Drift with Paul was fascinating. The whole experience at Rorkes Drift Lodge was fantastic, with well-furnished chalets and overwhelming views of the African bush.

Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We loved the breathtaking views and the peaceful, isolated location. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was comfortable and clean. The evening meal was fantastic. A must-try activity is the Battlefield's tour with Paul, it's worth every penny and he tells a captivating story.

We felt extremely safe throughout our stay and had no complaints at all.
