I recently stayed at Summerfields Rose Retreat for a night and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique tent experience. The staff arranged flower petals for my birthday, which was a lovely gesture. The property is diverse and offers a luxurious lodge, beautiful grounds with macadamia nut and lichee trees, a gin distillery, and a fantastic restaurant. The staff were accommodating and helped with transfers. The pictures don't do justice to the amazing property. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our dinner needs. The receptionist and property manager were wonderful. The pool overlooking the waterfalls and the scenic wooden pathways added to the retreat-like atmosphere. The spa was a must-visit. The food at the River Cafe and The Kitchen was delicious.

Tucked away down a path bordered by hundreds of agapanthus, this spa retreat offers an idyllic escape next to the river. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, with luxurious amenities and stunning views of the Sabie river. The staff are extremely pleasant and the breakfast is amazing. The spa treatments are heavenly, with sparkling wine offered on arrival. With beautiful surroundings and exceptional service, this retreat is a true R&R haven.

The hotel doesn't provide a trolley for carrying heavy bags from the parking lot to the rooms, which can be inconvenient for guests.

Had a fantastic stay at a serene retreat. The forest room was a luxurious glamping experience with a cozy bed and a beautiful deck. The spa treatments were rejuvenating and the fresh, high-quality cuisine was delicious. The peaceful river stream and scenic walks added to the natural beauty. highly recommended!

Luxurious and charming place with breathtaking views. the attention to detail, from the high-quality linen to the room decor, was fantastic. the complimentary breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of foods to choose from. the staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any queries we had. the location is great, with plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable.

Although it was generally a great stay, the noise from the nearby construction site was a bit of a nuisance during the day. the walls of our room were quite thin, and we could hear people in the hallway and adjoining rooms.

This hotel is truly luxurious and well-equipped with all exclusive amenities. the service provided by the staff was impeccable and we felt pampered throughout our stay. the Spa & wellness centre was amazing with a variety of treatments such as massage, body scrub, and body wraps offered. the outdoor swimming pool was well-maintained, and the Jacuzzi set in the garden area was an excellent addition to the experience.

The only minor issue we encountered was with the restaurant. While the food was excellent, the restaurant was a bit crowded during peak hours.
