Safe parking and night watch provided peace of mind. The well-kept garden and resident springboks added to the beautiful atmosphere. The location was excellent, providing a peaceful retreat while still being close to restaurants and a shopping mall. Unfortunately, we had to leave early and missed the included breakfast.

Loved the unexpected find of this riverside lodge. the location was simply stunning, with beautiful views overlooking the river. the rooms were fantastic, clean, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. They were extremely friendly, courteous, and always willing to assist with any requests. the breakfast selection was good, with eggs cooked to order, and the option of an evening meal with generous portions was a bonus.

The kitchenette in the family room was a bit cramped, but it was still adequate for our needs. It would have been even better if there were more options available for cooking, such as an oven or hob.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Sun River Kalahari Lodge in Upington. The value for money was fantastic, and the room itself was perfect - it had everything we needed and the view of the Orange river was breathtaking. The porch in front of the room with table and chairs was a bonus and we could sit outside in the beautiful garden in front of our room. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and were prepared to do much more than was expected of them - even an ice bucket for our wine in front of our room! Our vehicle was packed and the safe parking and night watch gave us the necessary peace of mind. the location of the property is excellent. You feel like being somewhere far from the busy town, but restaurants and the very good shopping mall were very close and easily accessible.

I would like it if they could install a handrail at the pool as the first step is quite deep. Only a suggestion.
