I had a fantastic stay at this guest house in Umhlanga. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a warm and convenient swimming pool. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, with a spacious and comfortable bed. The location was perfect, in a residential area near the airport and just a few minutes' drive away from coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping malls. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, providing lots of recommendations for things to do in the area and even preparing an early breakfast for our early check-out.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location near the airport was very convenient for us. The hotel's lovely garden provided a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The area surrounding the hotel, in Umhlanga, offered a variety of coffee shops and restaurants, making it easy to find great dining options. The service at this hotel was top-notch, with the staff being very friendly and accommodating. Our room was equipped with great amenities such as air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and an in-room safe. We especially enjoyed the patio where we could sit and unwind. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the variety of options catered to our dietary preferences.

Sylvan Grove Guest House in Umhlanga exceeded expectations with its perfect location, excellent services, and friendly manager. The quiet residential area offered a peaceful stay, while still being close to restaurants, movies, and beaches. The manager went above and beyond by helping ship a forgotten book and ensuring a comfortable experience. The swimming pool was convenient and consistently warm, and the spacious double bed and ground coffee added local flair to the stay. The breakfast options, including vegetarian choices, were delicious. a great value for money.

The location of the guest house was excellent, with easy access to the city center and major highways. the room was spacious and clean, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly liked the complimentary tea and coffee, as well as the fridge with honesty bar. the secured parking also gave me peace of mind during my stay.

One downside was the limited TV channels, as it didn't include popular options like Afrikaans, Discovery, and History channels. I also found the clicking noise from the electric fence to be a bit annoying, although I understand it is necessary for security purposes.

Additionally, being just a short distance away from the Gateway shopping centre meant that I had plenty of options for dining and entertainment. The hotel itself is nestled in a beautiful area, surrounded by quiet and upmarket residential homes, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere.
