The location of the hotel is perfect for a safari experience, with lots of opportunities to see a variety of animals up close. The tents are comfortable and clean, with great amenities such as air conditioning and private bathrooms. The staff go above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay, accommodating dietary restrictions and providing delicious meals. The game drives are incredible, guided by knowledgeable rangers who make sure you have an unforgettable experience.

Some aspects of the hotel experience may not be suitable for children due to a lack of activities and potential safety risks in the surrounding wildlife area.

The game drives at Aha Thakadu River Camp were absolutely phenomenal. I was able to see all the wildlife I had hoped for and more. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and ensured that we had the best experience possible. The organization of the park was top-notch, with strict rules on the number of vehicles near the animals. Our tent was well-equipped and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after long days of exploring. The food was delicious, especially when enjoyed outdoors by the fire. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist. It truly was a memorable stay.

This is the best place I have ever stayed at. It is luxurious, the location is spectacular as are the staff, the Safari, the accommodation and the sense of community. Everything about this lodge is outstanding- the service is caring and the food incredible. Vincent, our ranger, has extensive knowledge and is super generous with his expertise. The staff care about you and your stay. The community ownership of this project makes visiting all the more enjoyable.

The game drives were the highlight, with amazing sightings and well-managed crowds. The lodge facilities were luxurious and overwhelming, creating an authentic and relaxing atmosphere.
