The location of the hotel is stunning and full of potential. The historic building and garden setting create a beautiful atmosphere. The service at the hotel was professional and relaxed, and the staff were friendly. The food, especially the chicken curry, was absolutely delicious. The suite we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and the king-size bed provided a wonderful night's sleep.

I must mention that the room we stayed in was in need of some TLC. The furniture and fittings were outdated, and the carpets had a dank smell.

Spent Xmas at a cozy hotel with great food and a friendly staff. Loved the picturesque hiking trails nearby and the fireplace in the lobby. Plus, the hotel offered free Wi-Fi and a convenient shuttle service to nearby attractions.

The rooms were a bit outdated and the bathroom facilities could have been cleaner.

The Historic Hogsback Inn exceeded my expectations in several ways. the location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful gardens and a soothing river running right next to the hotel. It provided a peaceful and relaxing environment, perfect for a getaway. Secondly, the staff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction were truly impressive. Lastly, the rooms were well-appointed and clean, with showers and a beautiful view. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast that was served each morning.

All was well - I couldn't have asked for more from this hotel.

Lovely suite with large bathroom, own sitting room, and patio with river view. Friendly staff, delicious food, and thoughtful surprises. Great location and beautiful setting. Upgraded to newly renovated room. Loved the pub and dining area. Helpful and efficient waiting staff. Scenic property.
