super clean and cozy tents - right across the river - so close! got to learn local tales every night. the turn down service was exceptional - warm room - fresh bath after game drives, and those little surprises each night made all the difference.

My daughter's birthday was made extra special with thoughtful gestures. the game drives were thrilling, and we saw an abundance of wildlife. the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. springbok lodge provided us with a fantastic family safari experience, from the spacious tent accommodation that comfortably fit us all to the excellent service from the staff. the open bathroom added a unique touch, though a bit challenging with kids. the guide, sizwe, was knowledgeable, enhancing our game drives. food was always fresh and delicious, catering to all our needs.

During my stay at the lodge, I experienced exceptional cleanliness in the accommodation and enjoyed the added treat of an outdoor shower. the location near the battlefields of the Anglo-Zulu wars provided a unique and historical backdrop to the safari experience. the staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout my visit.

Exceptional staff and wildlife sightings

The staff at the lodge were incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and helpful, making our stay truly enjoyable. We were treated to amazing wildlife sightings during our game drives, accompanied by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable ranger. A minor drawback was the lack of adequate lighting on the pathways to the cabins, which resulted in an unfortunate accident.

The value for money was excellent, as we received spacious and comfortable accommodation for our family of four. The location was lovely and we were treated with exceptional service from the staff.

Breakfast option: The only small improvement would be to have a wider variety of breakfast items.

The lodge was situated in a picturesque location with stunning views of the countryside. the rooms were well-designed and spacious, equipped with modern amenities that made our stay comfortable. the staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the relaxing spa treatments offered at the hotel.

The noise from the nearby road was at times disturbing and affected our sleep. the lack of options for vegetarian meals in the restaurant was a downside for us.

We had an unforgettable biking experience at the Springbok Lodge. The accommodations were superb, with comfortable tents and spacious bathrooms. The friendly staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The meals were delicious, especially the breakfasts. We loved the beautiful pool and the opportunity to relax after a long day of biking. The game drives were a highlight, with knowledgeable guides offering insights into the wildlife. a fantastic biking destination.
