My stay at Waschbank River Lodge was absolutely wonderful. The location, right on the banks of the river, provided a stunning view and a sense of tranquility. The lodge itself was comfortable and cozy, with a fireplace in my self-catering unit that kept me warm during the cold winter nights. The beds had electric blankets, which was a great touch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and their meals were delicious and value for money. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby Norsvalpont concentration camp, which had a fascinating history. I highly recommend this lodge for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

One minor drawback was the poor wifi connection in unit 9, so it's something to be aware of. Additionally, there were some minor inconveniences such as the location of the air-conditioning unit and light switches, and the lack of a welcome booklet and WiFi password, but they didn't significantly affect my overall experience.

The restaurant offers delicious meals, including a standout rump steak. a highly recommendable place to stay for an overnight stop or a longer getaway.
