The room was not adequately heated and the bed linen was too small for the bed. the mini bar was noisy and oddly placed as a side table next to the bed.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, especially if you get a room on the front side. the location near the lake is a major advantage and allows for easy access to the boats and bus stop. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were well trained in English, making communication much easier.

The Mayak Hotel in Irkutsk is definitely the best accommodation option in town. Its central location, right across from the bus station, makes it super convenient. There are also two grocery stores nearby and great restaurants like LOVE, serving delicious dishes. The hotel offers a 24-hour sauna, which can be booked with the reception, allowing for a private and enjoyable experience. Additionally, the panoramic view from Studio 406 is breathtaking, especially during sunset. The hotel's breakfast spread is decent with a good selection of food and beverages.

Spending Christmas at this hotel was wonderful! the location was key, being right on the shores of Lake Baikal with stunning views of the frozen lake. the clean and modern rooms were equipped with everything we needed, including complimentary bottled water and cozy bathrobes. We also loved the convenience of having two dining options on-site.

The service at the hotel was not the best. the receptionists were not very friendly and seemed to be in a hurry whenever we had questions.
