The spacious suites with kitchenettes and spa baths were incredibly comfortable and quiet. The hotel's location on Vasilievsky Island made it convenient for visiting popular attractions like the Hermitage and Peter and Paul Fortress. The highlight for me was the amazing basement pool and sauna complex, which offered multiple types of saunas, pools of different temperatures, and even a "snow" room. The hotel's location in a mainly residential area ensured a peaceful stay.

Convenient location for visiting tourist attractions. the spa was a great way to relax with its variety of saunas and steam rooms.

Worst aspect was the lack of privacy in the spa, as it seemed to be open to outside visitors. the room had a view of a neighboring construction site and the bathroom had a flimsy sliding door that didn't provide much soundproofing.

The spa and gym fee is included in the price. Location is good. Housekeepers are polite and nice. Saunas, steam baths, and pools are wonderful. Breakfast has a good selection and delicious berries with yogurt. Gym is huge and room comfortable. Staff, particularly concierges Anastasia and Alexander, are extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. Rooms are spacious and food in the restaurant is excellent. Front desk staff is polite and helpful.

I recently stayed at Solo Sokos Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The gym was a hidden gem, much larger and more impressive than what was shown in the advertisement pictures. The variety of cardio machines was impressive, and everything was kept immaculately clean. The staff, particularly Anastasia at concierge, were brilliant and went out of their way to accommodate our last-minute taxi request. The pool facilities were excellent, and the car service to the airport was a nice touch. The hotel decor was lovely, and the room and bathroom were spacious.

I had a fantastic stay at Sokos Hotel! the location was perfect - a peaceful area that was conveniently close to everything. the lobby and restaurant had a beautiful appearance, and the spa facilities were top-notch. the staff members were amazing, especially Anastasia at concierge who went above and beyond to arrange a last-minute taxi for us. the room was spacious and nicely decorated, with a large bathroom. I also loved the pool facilities and the convenient car service to the airport. a wonderful experience!

Spacious rooms that comfortably accommodate families with kids. the breakfast was satisfying with a good variety of food options. the location was convenient, being central yet peaceful. the highlight was the spa and pool area, which had a wide range of saunas to choose from and was a great place to relax.

At times, it was difficult to reach the reception via phone and the room phone didn't work for external calls. the Wi-Fi in our room was unstable, but it's uncertain if this was an issue throughout the hotel or just our room.

Fantastic restaurant, short walk to Hermitage, best sauna and pool center, helpful staff, spacious rooms for families, good breakfast and restaurant.

As backpackers, we loved the clean and silent environment of Database Spa Zone. The location was great, just a 20-minute walk along the river to the city center. The staff, like Michael at the reception, were trained, polite, and tried to quickly solve any problems we had. The spa facilities were impressive with various saunas and hammams, although it may be a bit complicated for first-time visitors. It was also great that the hotel was not crowded with families, as everything was well managed by the staff.

During my recent stay at Sokos Hotel, I had the pleasure of visiting the spa and I must say, it was absolutely fantastic. The facilities were immaculate and the variety of amenities available exceeded my expectations. The large pool with jets, jacuzzis, plunge pools, and heat and ice rooms provided the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city. I particularly enjoyed the unique experience of the snow room. The fact that the spa stays open until 23:00 was also a huge plus, allowing me to fully indulge in the luxurious facilities. I highly recommend taking advantage of the spa during your stay at Sokos Hotel.
