It's conveniently located just a stone's throw away from a quiet and lovely beach, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff go above and beyond with their attentive service, and the breakfast served with its stunning view is a delightful way to start the day, especially with the freshly brewed coffee.

I recently stayed at a wonderful spot called The Sweet Retreat. The staff, Shelby and Robert, were incredibly accommodating and made my stay exceptional. The room I stayed in, the brown room, was spacious with a breathtaking ocean view patio. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the ocean breeze. Shelby, the owner, is also an amazing cook and baker. Each morning, she treated us to delicious homemade muffins, bread, and yogurt. The proximity to the beach was perfect, just a short two-minute walk away, and most days we had it all to ourselves. The Sweet Retreat provided a relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, beautiful beaches, and exceptional hospitality from the hosts.

The Sweet Retreat was the perfect choice for our stay in Port Elizabeth. Shelby and Robert were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. Shelby's culinary skills are unmatched, providing delicious gluten-free options for me. The view from our room overlooking Lower Bay and Admiralty Bay was breathtaking. The proximity to the best beach on the island and several great restaurants was a bonus. We were also impressed by the accommodating nature of Shelby and Robert, who even provided us with freshly filleted local swordfish. Sweet Retreat exceeded our expectations in terms of welcome, food, and location.

We had a wonderful time at this cozy beach house. the hosts are incredibly hospitable and the breakfast was delicious every morning. the house is located right on the beach, which made for stunning views and easy access to swimming and sunbathing. We also enjoyed the local restaurants nearby. One bonus was the homemade bread and muffins that were offered every breakfast. a fantastic vacation spot!

If we had to nitpick, we would say that the location was a bit remote and may not be for everyone. there were no options for lunch or dinner within walking distance, so we had to rely on the host's cooking or go into town.
