Great wildlife experience and welcoming staff. the lodge is located in front of a watering hole where you can get close to many animals including rhinos, providing a unique and exciting experience. the food and drink were good and there were many options to choose from. the outdoor showers provided a unique and enjoyable aspect of the stay.

while the lion walk provided excellent photo opportunities, it felt more like a staged event rather than a close connection with the animals.

The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a personalized service. The breakfast options are satisfactory, although the food can sometimes be served cold. I had a wonderful time at Fathala. The local staff were knowledgeable and proud of the reserve, making the activities even more enjoyable. The pool was great for relaxing, and the close encounters with rhinos, warthogs, and monkeys were incredible entertainment. The lodge's beautiful setting allowed for a close-up experience with numerous animals and birds. The friendly and helpful staff made dining a pleasure, with two options offered each night. The range of activities arranged by the hotel ensured there was never a dull moment.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing experience at this place! The location in the Jungle was absolutely breathtaking and we felt so close to the wildlife. We were able to see numerous animals and birds right at our door, which made our stay truly memorable. The service provided by the staff was top-notch - they were welcoming, friendly, and always efficient. The rooms were lovely and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We also enjoyed the delicious food at dinner. the experience was fantastic!
