I recently stayed at this gorgeous resort for a weekend family getaway with my 4-month-old baby. the hotel is incredibly baby-friendly, providing a cot, sterilizer, and baby bath tub, which was a huge help. the breakfast offered a nice variety, including delicious pancakes and freshly brewed coffee. the spacious family room, which is actually two interconnecting deluxe rooms, was perfect for our needs. the resort vibes and proximity to Tanjong Beach made our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, the luxurious bathroom amenities from BALMAIN were a lovely touch.

I recently spent some time at Sofitel and wanted to share my thoughts on a few aspects of the room and the overall stay. Starting with the room itself, I really enjoyed the space. It was quite spacious, with a comfortable bed that was perfect for sinking into after a long day. I have to shout out the pillows—they were heavenly! I found it super cozy and tranquil, just what I needed for some downtime. The air conditioning worked well, keeping everything nice and cool, which is essential given the humidity in the area. when it came to the little things, like the ironing facilities and laundry services, there were some hiccups. I needed to do a bit of ironing, but the facilities weren’t the easiest to locate, and once I did, they were a bit outdated. A modern iron would’ve been nice! I tried using the room service a few times, and while the menu looked scrumptious, it could take quite a while for the food to arrive. Speaking of food, the mini-bar setup was decent, though I felt there could have been a greater variety of snacks. I did appreciate the free tea and coffee facilities; having that electric kettle was a nice touch for a quick cup of tea in the morning. There were also some free toiletries provided, which were quite nice quality—definitely not your generic stuff! The flat-screen TV was a bonus too, although I did notice the cable connection wasn’t always the best, which was a bit disappointing when I wanted to catch up on some shows. The free Wi-Fi in the room was speedy, which helped a lot since I needed to check some emails for work. Now let’s talk about the dining table and sitting area. I was pleased there was a small table, perfect for enjoying breakfast. But I would’ve liked some cozy chairs instead of basic ones—something that could have made the area feel more inviting. Oh, and the patio! It was great to sit outside with some garden furniture to enjoy the fresh air, especially during the early evenings. That little escape was so refreshing! I noticed there were pet amenities available, which is a thoughtful touch for pet owners. Still, there were some areas that left me wanting more. The housekeeping staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, and I had to remind them about a couple of things that should have been addressed from the start. And honestly, I had to wait a bit longer than expected for my laundry to come back, but I guess they were busy with other guests too. Valet parking was smooth, but I missed having a shuttle service option for exploring nearby attractions, as it would have made getting around a breeze. To sum it up, while I had some wonderful moments at Sofitel, it seems like there’s a bit of room for improvement in service and some of the amenities. Still, I genuinely enjoyed my time there—just a few tweaks could elevate the experience to stellar!

We stayed for a relaxing family vacation and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort. the landscaping is stunning, and we loved the quiet ambiance of our spacious Prestige Suite, which offered a great view. the private villa, complete with an outdoor shower and a jacuzzi, was perfect for our kids. Plus, having the option to park our car right outside our villa made our stay all the more convenient. Breakfast had a delightful range of options that satisfied everyone.

I can recommend this hotel.
