The location of the hotel was very convenient as it was next to the Chinatown area and close to everything we needed. The bus station was nearby, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were helpful and kind, providing good service. The breakfast, though simple, was tasty and well made.

The room was quite tiny, but it had good lighting and wasn't dark inside.

While everything was perfect, more attention could be given to soundproofing.

Great location! I recently stayed at the Keong Saik Hotel and was impressed with its proximity to the vibrant Chinatown and the convenience of nearby MRT stations. Ended up staying 4 days at this hotel. For a budget hotel, it was generally a good experience. Room was small, but it was okay for us. It was nice to have breakfast included and two complementary facts offered were appreciated. We were happy with the proximity of the hotel to key locations, and the fact that good eating places were nearby. One more advantage was that the air conditioning was controllable.

We had stayed during new year and there were fireworks that went off right outside our window at night. It lasted for hours and it was very loud.

the noise from the nearby temple was quite disruptive, especially during the early morning hours. the roadworks happening just outside the hotel added to the noise level and made it difficult to relax.
