I was delighted to find free wi-fi in public areas, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, and even cookware and kitchen utensils. Definitely the perfect place for a fantastic stay!

The hotel staff provided us with detailed instructions on how to find the place, making it easy for us to locate it. The room was nice and clean, although it was on the smaller side, it was enough for two people. It had a private bathroom with a bath, a coffee maker, and a TV. We also appreciated the fact that we could pay in cash and that the hotel had a private entrance. The wifi was excellent, allowing us to stay connected during our stay.

The staff arranged for security to hand over keys when we arrived after reception closed. we had a pleasant stay at Old City Hotel.

the rooms were a bit outdated, but they were clean. There were some businesses and a Thai massage place below the hotel, although we didn't try it because it was too expensive. the receptionist, Claudia, was friendly and spoke good English. I found that things in the area were cheaper compared to other nearby cities. There were plenty of cafes and restaurants around, and it felt safe to walk. the only downside was that the walls were thin, so bring earplugs for sleeping. the hotel was also close to the old town square and the meeting point for the free walking tour. Upon check out, we were able to find someone to help us with our luggage, just remember to tip them.

While there were many stairs, we saw it as an opportunity to burn off all the beer we enjoyed exploring the vibrant surroundings. we highly recommend this centrally located hotel.
