We loved the fact that it was not immediately over the lake, as it provided a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Our room had a balcony with a view of the castle, which was a delightful surprise. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast offered a wide range of appealing, healthy options and it was included in the price of the room.

Nothing, it was perfect.

I had a fantastic stay at this family-run hotel. The staff at this charming inn were experienced hoteliers who gave me a warm welcome and exceptional care throughout my stay. The location in Bled was perfect, with easy access to all the activities in the area. The quality of the accommodation was top-notch, and I especially enjoyed the quiet garden spaces where I could enjoy a lovely homemade breakfast. The Penzion Mayer truly is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Spent xmas time at a hotel nearby the beautiful lake. The breakfast was quite nice, they had a wide selection of fruit and cooked a yummy egg/ sausage combo. The location was perfect, calm and quiet which we really enjoyed. The complementary shower gel and the spacious rooms were great as well.

The heating system was almost non-existent, making the rooms super cold and uncomfortable during our stay. The rooms could have been cleaned a bit better, as we found some dust and hair on the floor.

Felt more than at home, no complaints whatsoever

We had a fantastic Easter getaway! The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, including a kettle and TV. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Plus, the service was warm and friendly. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the lake and all the attractions. We also loved that the hotel provided bikes for guests to use, which allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings in a fun and eco-friendly way.

That the bed was a bit too soft for our liking. It would have been more comfortable if the mattress was firmer.
