The hotel is located in a historic area, surrounded by shops and bars where you can try the local delicacies. the city park is nearby and it's a great place to relax and watch people go by. the hotel staff were friendly and helpful with all our requests.

The cafeteria that was offered instead was not very appealing, with a limited food selection and a dull ambiance. Parking was also a bit challenging to access, although it was convenient to have a space to park our car.

It was also conveniently located near the town center and on the outskirts of the old town. The room was spacious and had a modern and clean bathroom with a practical built-in shelf. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff and a welcoming cafeteria. The breakfast offered a variety of local products, making it a delightful start to the day. Additionally, the hotel provided free internet access in the lobby.

I did notice some road works near the hotel, which made access a bit challenging.

our recent stay in soria was wonderful - the rio duero's lovely paths and island park made for a fantastic walking tour. alfonso viii was the perfect home base, with its comfortable rooms, convenient parking, and beautiful long bathtub in the suite.
