the place has a cozy and adorable design, with a homey feel that made me feel right at home. the husband and wife team who run the hostel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They made sure that all my needs were met, and I was particularly grateful that they spoke English as I don't speak Spanish. the cleanliness of the hostel was also impressive, considering the number of people constantly coming and going with sandy feet. I also appreciated the thoughtful design that catered to surfers, with spaces to store your board and dry your wetsuit. the location couldn't be better, with a supermarket just below and the beach and bus stop within a couple of blocks. Blai Blai is a wonderful place to stay when visiting the area.

Nothing to complain about at all 😊

The staff was super friendly and helpful, giving us all the information we needed to make the most of our romantic escape. Plus, the hostel was just a short walk away from the beach, making it convenient for us to enjoy some sun and sand together. And the fact that they provided a coffee machine and microwave meant we could easily have breakfast in bed or a late-night snack whenever we wanted.

There were a couple of things that we didn't particularly like. there was no kitchen available for cooking, which was a bit disappointing considering we wanted to have some cozy dinners together.

As bike riders, we loved the convenience of having a grocery store located upstairs in the same building complex. The well-organized shared kitchen provided all the necessary facilities for preparing our own breakfast and meals. The coffee machine, kettle, plates, mugs, and microwave were all available. The hostel's clean and comfortable bed-pods with crisp sheets ensured a good night's sleep. The friendly owners and the upbeat vibe of the place attracted both surfers and pilgrims. We also appreciated the thoughtful amenities for surfers, like a dedicated space for storing boards and drying wetsuits. Lastly, the cleanliness of the hostel was remarkable, considering the number of people coming in with sand on their feet.

We had a fantastic experience at this surf town hostel. the Blai Blai Hostel exceeded our expectations in every way. the friendly staff made us feel welcome and provided helpful advice. the wooden cabins with curtains offered privacy, and the beds were comfortable with plenty of storage space. the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Most importantly, the hostel was impeccably clean, despite the constant flow of sandy-footed surfers.
