The price, location, and photo suggested a small, rustic hotel. However, it was surprisingly spacious with 60 rooms. The staff was professional and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The trellisted restaurant and golden mimosa tree outside added to the charm.

Our recent stay at Gran Hostal El Chiscon was enjoyable. The hotel has a beautiful building and the communal areas were generally clean. We appreciated the helpful reception staff and the secure underground carpark. Additionally, the breakfast was tasty, with fresh orange juice and fruits. The outside seating area and bar service were a great addition. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located right in the center of town, making it easy to access nearby restaurants and attractions. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a comfortable stay. Despite not being very close to the rail station, taxis were readily available for transportation when buses weren't convenient.

The sound absorption in the rooms could be improved, as the thin brick walls didn't do much to block out noise from outside.

We found that the sound insulation wasn't great and we could hear a lot of noise from the street and corridor. the breakfast was also very basic and lacked protein options.

Plus, I was able to bring my dog to the breakfast area without any issues or extra charges. The staff were friendly and professional, making my stay even more enjoyable.
