As a satisfied hotel guest, I recently stayed at Hostal Castilla in Aranjuez for a couple of nights. The lovely layout, with most rooms surrounding an open atrium filled with plants and interesting objects, created a unique and enjoyable atmosphere. The walls were adorned with numerous pictures and photos, adding to the charm. With excellent value for the price, the hotel's location was conveniently situated between the palace and river, with restaurants nearby. Additionally, the breakfast in the cafeteria was a good value. Street parking was easy and the friendly Spanish people made our night out delightful. I highly recommend this hotel as a stopover for those heading south from the ferry ports.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay in this charming hotel. The inner courtyard was a great place to relax and use the wifi. The hotel staff were friendly and made us feel at home. The location was excellent, close to bars and restaurants, as well as the main tourist sites and the main bridge on the river. The breakfast was delicious, with good coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice, and a choice of a toasted ham and cheese sandwich or croissant.

Absolutely nothing.

We arrived late at night and were well received without any fuss at Hostal Castilla. The internal courtyard was pretty and provided a nice atmosphere. The breakfast was friendly and well priced, with the option to have extra croissants, toast, and coffee at no extra cost. Additionally, we were fortunate to have parking right outside the front door, which was very helpful, especially with kids.

Our first impression of this hotel was great, as we overlooked a green and lush courtyard with plenty of seating areas to enjoy. The wooden pillars painted in dark red added a charming touch to the passages on the first floor. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a well-equipped two-bedroom apartment, with a high standard kitchen and bathroom. The hotel's location in the heart of the town made it convenient for exploring the main tourist sites, such as the castle. Additionally, the staff provided excellent hospitality, welcoming us without fuss even though we arrived late at night.

Could not be improved in any way.

No frills for a full holiday.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the town, making it easy to access the main tourist sites. It is also close to a nice square with an amazing café for breakfast. Being in the center of town, everything is within walking distance, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with hot water and clean towels provided. The staff is friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

That the inner courtyard was often crowded with flowerpots, which made it difficult to find a spot to sit and relax.
