I recently stayed at this hostel for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from Puerta del Sol. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The room and bedclothes were very clean, and all the necessary facilities, like an iron and hair dryer, were readily available. The air conditioning worked well, and the overall price/comfort ratio was excellent. I felt like a welcome guest from the moment I arrived, thanks to the professional and helpful reception staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

I gotta say, Hostal Esmeralda was a steal for the money! The room was cozy and comfortable, and it had these cool balcony doors that blocked out all the street noise. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city, with easy access to the metro and tourist buses. And the staff? They were super friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast selection could use some improvement, maybe more variety or healthier options would be great.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location couldn't be better - right in the heart of the city and very near the main metro station. It was easy to get to from the airport and train station. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English fluently. The hotel facilities were great, with an elevator available and warm showers even during busy hours. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, with the beds made up every day. The AC and ventilation worked perfectly, and towels and soap were provided for free. The comfort of the mattress made for a great night's sleep.

I walked everywhere and saw all the touristy stuff in Madrid. The guest house offered laundry services, luggage storage, and airport transfers.
