We loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the comfortable room. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore on foot. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Also, being very near a metro station made getting around the city super easy, including getting to the airport in the early evening.

The host, Nadia, was incredibly gracious and provided top-notch customer service. She allowed an early check-in and gave helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, with a private bathroom. I appreciated the availability of coffee and tea throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, service, and cleanliness.

Great location! It was right in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions and within walking distance of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any inquiries or requests. The room was clean and tidy, and the daily housekeeping service was a plus.

The room was quite small and cramped, especially the bathroom. It was a struggle to move around and there was barely any space to store our belongings.

I had a fantastic stay at this hostal. The location was perfect, allowing me to easily explore the city on foot. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The staff, particularly the owner, were incredibly kind and caring. When I fell ill during my stay, they went above and beyond to take care of me, offering me a cup of tea and even going to the pharmacy for me. They even checked in on me later to see if I had improved. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and well cared for. I also appreciated the flexibility they offered, allowing me to use the shared facilities even after I had checked out. my experience at Hostal Excellence was excellent and I would gladly book with them again.

Conveniently located near Plaza Catalunya with easy access to airport bus and metro. Spacious room with high ceilings and nice lounge for making tea. Helpful and friendly staff who kept the room spotless. Quiet at night and great value for money.

The central location allows you to explore the Gothic area and all its charm. With comfortable and clean rooms, modern amenities like nice TVs, good quality Wi-Fi, and a communal area with a coffee machine and tea kettle, this hostel has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The shower may have some issues with water drainage, but overall, it is still manageable.

That the hotel could get a bit noisy, especially if you were sensitive to sound. I could hear music from the neighboring apartment and conversations in the common area.

What a gem we found at Hostal Excellence! The cleanliness, comfort, location, and helpful staff exceeded my expectations! They promptly responded to my questions and even helped me with my suitcase. The room had a water dispenser, sink, TV, and air conditioning. The beds were excellent and the hotel was centrally located, a short walk to Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya.

I strongly recommend this hotel.
