We chose Hostal Oriente for its central location near Plaza del Sol, which was convenient for exploring Madrid. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They moved us to a bigger room with a modern shower for the second night, which was much more comfortable. the room itself was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, including a fridge and a safe. the staff was also very helpful in assisting us with bookings and storing our luggage. the hotel's location was easily accessible and felt safe, even at night.

A really useful find in Central Madrid! The single rooms are small but spotlessly clean with everything you need. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. There is a pleasant common area on each floor. The location is fantastic, with easy access to all the major attractions. I highly recommend this hotel for its value and convenience.

This hotel is just opposite the "Opera" metro station which makes it very convenient to travel around the center of the city. The room we stayed in had all the regular comforts including an air conditioning unit, and we had a balcony overlooking the Ópera. Also, the included breakfast was a big plus.

The entrance was a bit confusing to find at first, as it was not clearly labeled and required ringing a bell for access. the room walls were quite thin, which meant that sometimes I could hear noise from the street or other guests.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right at a lively main street and plaza. We were able to easily explore the Gothic Quarter and visit attractive areas such as the Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace, which were just a short walk away. The room was clean and comfortable, with a TV and en suite bathroom. The staff were helpful and friendly, providing useful information and ensuring our stay was pleasant.

The noise from the busy street outside made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hostal Oriente. the location was perfect, with the metro station right at our doorstep and all the city highlights within walking distance. the design of the hotel was brand new and stylish, and our room, especially the spacious bathroom, was very comfortable. Staying here, we felt like we were living like locals in a historical building. Despite being in the heart of the city, our room was surprisingly quiet, with a peaceful view of the backyard. the breakfast options at the nearby Rodilla cafe were outstanding, with a wide variety of sandwiches, croissants, and more. the best part was the value for money - the price for our standard double room was truly outstanding.

Additionally, there were plenty of shopping areas nearby. The rooms were surprisingly soundproof, considering our window opened onto the street. I was impressed by how quiet it was. The rooms were also spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The staff was always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to others.
