As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the spacious twin rooms and friendly staff. The location was superb, with easy access to Sol and great food options. The hotel had modern facilities while still maintaining a cozy, small hotel atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent value for money.

The location was excellent, right at the heart of everything. The hotel facilities were great, including a clean and comfortable room with good external soundproofing. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff, especially a helpful and friendly receptionist, went out of their way to assist us, even though we couldn't speak Spanish very well.

As a first-time visitor to Madrid, I was delighted with my stay at Hostal Persal. The staff was incredibly helpful and the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. The restaurant on-site was not only nice but also very affordable. I was lucky to have a room on the street side with a balcony that offered a great view of the Puerta del Sol clock tower. The hotel itself was comfortable, well-decorated, and exceptionally clean. The breakfast buffet included a wide variety of delicious cheeses, meats, breads, and cereals.

Totally recommend this hotel.

we had a great experience at Hostal Persal! the location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk to all the major sightseeing spots. the hotel is surrounded by fantastic markets and restaurants, making it really convenient for dining. the wifi was super fast, which was a pleasant surprise compared to other hotels.

The location of the hotel was superb, right in the centre of the city and within walking distance of all the main attractions. We were just five minutes away from both Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. the hotel was situated in an atmospheric square, adding to the overall charm of our stay.

The breakfast options were very basic with no hot dishes. Each day, the same cold buffet was offered, which left us craving for something more substantial.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, just a short walk away from major sightseeing areas and numerous Metro stops. It is also conveniently situated right next to the jazz club, which I visited and enjoyed during my stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with all necessary amenities such as TV, safe, and hair dryer. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options including delicious breads, pastries, fruits, and cheeses.

The wifi signal in the room was poor, making it difficult to connect to the internet.

The location is mind-blowing, right in the heart of the city! The lobby and stairway have a super cool decor. The staff is jaw-droppingly helpful and friendly, always making sure we had the best recommendations and even helping us make reservations for an amazing flamenco show. The breakfast is delicious and the room is really good, with a flat-screen TV, plenty of space, and a safe. this place is top-notch and I had a super enjoyable stay!

This was our second time staying at this hostal because of its excellent location and the intimate atmosphere it provides. Everything we needed in the city was right at our doorstep.

The bed in our room was shorter than standard, which made it uncomfortable for taller individuals. the noise from other guests was disruptive, but the staff did address the issue when it was brought to their attention.
