Spent New Year's at a cozy country hotel in the heart of the mountains. the owners were helpful and filled us in on the best hiking trails and restaurants in the area. Stunning views of snow-capped hills from our window and at breakfast. Delicious homemade dinners and breakfast made with fresh, local ingredients. Great walking sticks available for guests. Perfect base for exploring the hiking trails and villages nearby.

The lack of reliable Wi-Fi meant we couldn't get online as much as we wanted. the rooms were a little small, but they were tidy and had everything we needed.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was impressive. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with a beautiful reception area and dining room that had recently been redecorated. The parking was ample and easy to access, and the hotel also provided transportation suggestions for exploring the area. The location, nestled by hills and mountains, was truly captivating. The host, Nigel, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent suggestions for hill walks, complete with loaned maps and walking guides. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
