We were warmly greeted by the receptionist and given a detailed explanation of the breakfast menu and a helpful visitor's map. Our luggage was already in our room upon arrival, and the hotel was absolutely spotless. An evening coffee served by the friendly Laura was a delightful treat. After a restful night's sleep, we enjoyed an outstanding breakfast.

One drawback was the lack of a railing down into the pool, as the steps were quite steep. However, it was still a refreshing reward after a long day walking the Camino.

Loved the modern and imaginative decor of the hotel, it had a great vibe. the staff were extremely efficient and friendly, with a clear commitment to exceptional service. - the hotel had a sparkling pool and offered gourmet food, which was a real treat. - Conveniently located on the Camino Portugues, making it a great choice for pilgrims and hikers. - the attention to detail was impressive, with cooling leg and foot gel and disposable slippers provided in the rooms.

During my stay over Christmas, the hotel was quite quiet and lacked a festive atmosphere. Limited options for activities and entertainment, as many places nearby were closed for the holidays.

We were so grateful when my bag inadvertently went to the wrong hotel, but the staff at Pousada Real walked across town to retrieve it. The friendly service and excellent breakfast made our stay even better. The beautiful room overlooked the garden and pool, adding to the overall care they took. Even with a market setting up on Monday morning, the hotel location was still great for us. I highly recommend this hotel.

The indoor eating area may be a bit small, but this is compensated by a large covered/enclosed outdoor eating area.

What a great Christmas stay! the breakfast offered freshly squeezed orange juice and complimentary bottled water in the cozy room. the location was key as it was easy to access all the local attractions by foot. the environment gave a very homey feel and everything was clean and upkeep. Apart from all this, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, giving us an extra homely touch to our holiday.
